Wilson was selected to conduct studies and provide design services under the City’s annual On-Call services contract for projects related to the City’s remote facilities. Services provided through the On-Call contract included water system modeling, field surveys and investigations, remote facility assessments, minor design improvements for remote facilities, development of cost estimates, and review of Job-Order-Contracting cost estimates. Wilson developed data to track progress and address action item requirements, given the volume of minor projects that arise over the project duration. The following is a representative list of several On-Call projects for which we have provided studies and design services:

• Replacement of five booster pumps and associated electrical gear.  

• 52nd street service yard study. 

• Remote facility chlorine modifications. 

• Standard specification update from 18 divisions to the new Construction Specification Institute (CSI) 48 divisions.  

• South Mountain Park water system assessment and BPS improvements  

• Sound study to determine if the pump station sound exceeds allowable sound decibel ratings or if mitigation is required.
