Alan Palmquist, PE

Principal Associate

Alan has successfully completed numerous projects that have solidified the reputation of Wilson Engineers in the industry. These projects encompass a range of greenfield and expansion initiatives for wastewater treatment facilities throughout Arizona. He is also a recognized leader in aquifer storage, recovery, and groundwater well systems that support many municipalities. In addition to his detailed design expertise, Alan has extensive experience in planning these facilities, contributing to utility master planning efforts for numerous communities and individual facilities. With over 27 years of experience since earning his bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University, Alan has managed nearly $1 billion in project value.

I began my career as an intern at Wilson Engineers while attending Arizona State University, and my journey to a leadership role today reflects the values Wilson holds dear. We are committed to providing young engineers the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive, team-focused environment—something we continue to cultivate in our ever-evolving and exciting workplace.

A Personal Note

Originally from Alaska, Alan a passion for the outdoors and enjoys fishing with family and friends. In his spare time, he likes hiking, driving his Jeep, and spending time with his wife and two children, both of whom are currently in college.
